Mangala Mantra

Svasti prajā bhyah paripala yantam

Nyā-yena mārgena mahim mahishāḥ

Gō brahmanebhyaha shubamastu nityam

Lokāḥ samasthaḥ sukhinō bhavantu

May all beings, everywhere, enjoy abundance.

May the citizens, lawmakers and rulers act without prejudice, or self interest.

May the quest for higher erudition always be protected.

May everyone, everywhere, be happy and be free.
